Saint Mary Magdalene, Bernardino Luini, Italian, ca. 1480-ca. 1532

Magdalene Retreats offers 7-day immersive retreats working with the content of Mary Magdalene, John the Evangelist, and connectedness to source in our lives as personified and exemplified in these two individualities, who can be seen as two parts of a whole.

For nearly two thousand years, the truth of Mary Magdalene disappeared from the world. Then her gospel, a revolutionary book meant for the future, was unearthed, and she herself is ever closer and more accessible to us, along with her companion and brother, John.

What can Mary Magdalene and John teach us about becoming fully human? What did they share over the ages? What do they have to say now as they pour forth again into the world?

This is a stream of new mysteries regarding the integration of sacred feminine and masculine. It is contemplative, meditative, and creative. It helps us realign with source, which is also divinity within us. It is a path of healing, awakening, and deep becoming, in which Mary Magdalene and John are out ahead of us as living examples of highly developed human beings.  They show us a picture of a full human being, containing both archetypal masculine and feminine, using all of their vast combined gifts to help humanity awaken to and understand our divinity.

Faith DiVecchio is a writer, homeschooling mother, trained Waldorf teacher, and entrepreneur.

She leads courses and a contemplative path working with Mary Magdalene, and is offering retreat experiences beginning in the summer of 2023. The offerings connected to Mary Magdalene and John the Evangelist emerge out of walking deeply with these individuals and with Anthroposophy and historical and contemporary theology from both Eastern and Western paths.
