Alamitos Canyon Retreat is located in the ancient place of Pecos, New Mexico. Surrounded by mountains filled with piñon and juniper trees, the Retreat is 30 miles east of Santa Fe and 85 miles NE of Albuquerque. The off-grid retreat property is secluded on 150 acres surrounded by Pecos National Wilderness and Santa Fe National Forest. Below runs the Pecos River and the ancestral (Cicuye) Pueblo standing as a meaningful reminder of people who once lived here. The immersion into this private and natural environment completely soothes and balances the soul and senses.
The breezes through the pine needles capture a calming sound like no other while the aroma from the variety of plants and trees heals. The sun shines most every day with a low humidity average with temperatures of 85° dropping 10-15° in the evenings.
Alamitos Canyon Retreat was built in 2023 and has state-of-the-art solar technology and underground tanks storing up to 10,000 gallons of water for the rainwater catchment and filtration systems.

Food and Catering
Participants will be provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a ‘help yourself’ snack and beverage assortment. All meals will be organic with New Mexican influences.
Please provide any other dietary accommodations 2 weeks prior to arrival.
The retreat property is alcohol and tobacco-free.
How to Arrive
Alamitos Retreat House will offer transportation from Santa Fe to the Retreat Center in Pecos on July 1st and again on July 8th (approximately a 1-hour drive). Due to the remoteness of the retreat house and 4WD terrain, it is difficult to navigate. If you feel you need your own vehicle during the retreat please notify the retreat host.
Our shuttle service will pick up participants on July 1st at 2:30 pm at La Fonda Hotel in Historic Downtown Santa Fe.
On July 8th, the Retreat House will provide a shuttle service back to the La Fonda Hotel for an 11:30 am drop-off time.
Participants will need to arrange transportation from Albuquerque Airport (ABQ) or Santa Fe Airport (SAF). We recommend using Groom Transportation if coming from Albuquerque Airport ($84 RT). Please book your airport shuttle reservation soon after booking your flight and let the retreat host know your travel details.
You may book an Uber if landing at Santa Fe Airport.
La Fonda Hotel has a restaurant in the lobby area and many shops and restaurants steps away from the hotel if you have time before the 2:30 pick-up time on July 1.

Bill and I have been married for 22 years with 2 children. We met in New York City during my fashion career and Bill’s emerging medical career. While raising a family, we spend most of our time in the Berkshires where I now work with private clients as a Family Coach and Bill continues as a practicing physician. Alamitos Canyon Retreat is a dream come true in many ways beyond words and is emerging into a sanctuary of silence and stillness in nature, allowing one to discover human wholeness.
