Christ Appearing to Mary Magdalene, Charles de la Fosse, c1680

A Journey with Mary Magdalene

During this offering on Zoom, we will travel with Mary Magdalene through biblical appearances, history, legend, and art. We will explore who she is as an individual through the lenses of Anthroposophy and Rosicrucianism. In drawing closer to her we also draw closer to the Divine Feminine. We will also travel deeply with John the Evangelist and explore the connection between Mary Magdalene and John, and what that means for us today.

This is a substantive course and it is important to commit to all seven sessions. They will not be recorded. Participants are asked to be present and focused on Zoom for all sessions with cameras on. The course is a combination of presentations (by Faith), contemplative reading of the Mary Magdalene Gospel, and group discussion.

The Way of Mary Magdalene

In course two, we will deepen into the gospel appearances of Mary Magdalene as initiatic images which teach us a particular way of being with Christ. We will work with meditation out of Anthroposophy in an interweaving with these pictures and come away with a practice that we can take out into life as we continue to open more and more to who she is and to the unique path of transformation into which she guides us.
